I took this photo yesterday, it was a terribly cold day and we went walking for 2 hours, this is at the end of the walk as he was getting tired and had to climb this hill. He says the stick helped get him up.

Anne Bronte's Grave.

I took this photo today at St Mary's Church in Scarborough, this is a little piece of History and a person who the name rang a bell but I couldn't work out if she was related to Emily Bronte and Charlotte Bronte, but she is the sister of these 2 authors, she is probably the least known of the sisters but by all accounts from what I have read just now researching her she was as good as Emily and Charlotte. It seems as though for the most part she was also educated at home as my children are so we found it very interesting.

Shipwrecks in History!!!

During our time here in Flamborough we have come across some beautiful things to photograph and some things that make you think and wonder about what may have happened. We were climbing on a trecherous part of the rocks the other day ad managed to get all the way out to this shipwreck, parts of this ship remain scattered amongst the rocks at Flamborough head. The boiler below we believe to be from a ship called Rosa.

We were chased by these geese yesterday, I thought they would stop but they didn't they managed to surround the car, it was funny but a little scarry at the same time. lol.

13th Century Church, England

We visited thie 13 th Century Church today and loved looking through it although it was a little spooky with no one in it and the wind whirling around it, it was creaking and groaning, but a very beautiful building and happy we spotted it while driving.

The roads were really wide in Korea but there was no traffic on them. One little bus on a really wide road.

We were looking in an aviary this afternoon and spotted this little bird all puffed up, cutie!!!!

The Dove House!

We were out and about this afternoon and spotted this Dove house in a local park, the doved were flying all over the grounds and the house was full of them.

And then there were 9!!!

We went for a walk yesterday and saw a mother duck and her 10 ducklings, today we saw the same mother duck and she had lost one of the wee ducklings, it was sad to see and she wouldn't come near us this time, like she did the day before.

We spent ages watching this mummy duck trying to keep all her little ones together, it made me realise how tiring it must be to keep your eye on them all.

I don't know that much about Butterflies, but we had some that we watched go through the change and my 4 year old son says this is the same butterfly that hangs around our garden to play. He was way up in the top of the tree and my little camera with a little zoom, could not do it justice.

My Thoughts

I decided to make a blog just to show my life through photo's, I have a crappy little digital camera with hardly any zoom, I carry it everywhere with me and snap away, my kids think I am slightly loopy, well ok a lot loopy, but hey I love it, lol, and that all that matters!!!

So there won't be many words here just brief descriptions of my photo's, I know they are not very good, but it is not about that, it is about doing something for ME. I am a single parent, homeschooling 3 children and don't get much ME time so my photo's are what I do for ME!!!
